Head restraint position
The c entre of the head re straint s hould be
at e ye le ve l. If this is not possib le, ad just to
the highest position for extremely tall
pe o ple, or to th e l o w es t p o s it i on f o r
extremely short people.

Head restraints, Saloon
To fold down passenger’s seat backrest
(lugga ge comp artm en t enlarge ment se e
page 68), remove head restraint. To do so,
release the two springs by pressing them
and deta ch the head restraint.
Rear centre head restraint 3
If the centre rear seat is unoccupied, the
head restraint can be removed to improve
visibility. Release both springs b y pressing,
detach the head restraint and place it in
luggage compa rtm ent on the left-hand
wheel housing.
The centre head restraint must be fitted if
the centre rear seat is occupied.
Disregard can lead to injuries which
could be fatal. Vehicle p assengers
should be informed accordingly.
